Do all of your organisations systems automatically lock after a short period of inactivity (requiring re-authentication)? Not all systems do this. However critical systems such as AWS and Google Workspace do. The Commonplace platform does not currently do this for users, but it is on our short term roadmap. Does your organisation use/provision a password manager to ensure passwords are of the required complexity and only used once? 1password is used by all employees and contractors. It provides a place for users to store various passwords, software licenses, and other sensitive information in a virtual vault that is locked with a PBKDF2-guarded master password. Browser based (Chrome, Safari etc) password saving is disabled for employees. |
